Oxygen without limits — underwater breathing innovation.

Introduction

Designed by Mohammed Maaz, Aqua Breathe is a self-sustaining underwater oxygen ecosystem meant to replace single-use oxygen tanks entirely, positioned as a one-time purchase with no direct competitors. It comes in three tiers. The Electrolysis Diving Suit, for professional and deep-sea divers, draws in and filters seawater then splits it via electrolysis into O2 for breathing and H2 fed into a micro fuel cell for power; eight mini-turbines double as thrusters and generators, and a kinetic membrane generates electricity from the diver's own movement, with a backup O2 cylinder and battery for safety. It costs $500 to manufacture and sells for $800, a $300 profit per unit. The Casual/Kids Diving Mask is a simple mask connected by a 10–35m tube to a surface-floating air pump — affordable and mass-market. The Children's Oxygen Toy Mask gamifies the idea with a "gun-and-bullet" style mask using standard water bottles as swappable air "bullets". Year-one financials project $4.1M revenue, $2.7M COGS, $900K opex and $315K net profit, breaking even at 3,166 units — with a future space application swapping heavy oxygen tanks for water tanks that undergo electrolysis for both breathable O2 and thruster-fuel H2.
