Bio-integrated solar energy innovation.

Introduction

Biosolaris-X is a living bio-hybrid solar air-purifying and energy system — a solar panel that goes beyond passive energy generation to actively clean air and produce useful byproducts. It is a five-layer stack: a nano-shield graphene/boron-nitride cover with ventilation for air intake; a microalgae photobioreactor that absorbs CO2, NOx, SOx and PM2.5 while performing singlet fission and upconversion to capture more of the light spectrum and releasing clean O2; a reversible adhesive interface that holds the layers together but dissolves for recycling; a perovskite-silicon tandem cell pushing efficiency past 45% (versus ~20–23% for standard panels); and a flexible bio-carbon substrate with flush valves. An automated "density flush" system uses turbidity sensors to monitor algae density and, when light is blocked, a solenoid valve flushes 70% of the slurry and replenishes fresh nutrient solution. That slurry feeds either Model A, a 50×50×50cm biofuel cube converting algae lipids into biodiesel and biogas, or Model B, a UV-sanitised bio-fertiliser sump for gardens. At end of life the panel is chemically disassembled for 99% material recovery instead of landfill.
